With a background in music and education, Richard entered the business world as a sales representative for such distinguished concert piano manufacturers as Steinway, Boesendorfer, and Yamaha. There he cultivated a sensitivity to the needs of his customers and the patience required to work with all levels of clients from families to universities, and world renowned concert artists. In 1987, Richard began his real estate career in San Francisco with Asia Pacific Groups. Soon after he was managing the day to day operations of the company and finally as vice president, was responsible for recruitment, training, and quality control for the busy real estate and mortgage company. Fluency in Japanese was helpful in the diverse market of the San Francisco Bay Area! Moving south to Silicon Valley in 1992, Richard helped launch Nationwide Funding, a successful Mortgage Banking operation before buying Sterling Properties in Foster City in 1997. In 1999, Richard joined RE/MAX Today as managing broker and foudned Delloro Fianncial Services, acting as its CEO. Throughout his career, his commitment to integrity, professionalism and philosophy of bringing value to his clients has won him a loyal following of past satisfied customers and Realtor Associates. Richard is very active in local community outreach as part of his desire to give back to the community in which he lives and works. As former Chairman and continuing member of the board of directors of  Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco, Richard has worked diligently in growing that organization since 1998 and celebrated the construction of over 100 homes for very low and low income families in San Mateo and San Francisco Counties.
